- This Peugeot spice mill with its cylindrical body and elegant metal handle was designed for the simple grinding of flax seeds. Flax seeds are known for their health benefits (rich in fiber and omega-3 fatty acids, gluten-free) and are an important part of a balanced diet as a superfood. It is essential that the flax seeds are ground, as their shell cannot be digested by the body. Peugeot has therefore developed a grinding mechanism made of a material specifically designed for the consistency and hardness of flax seeds. The wooden mill is the ideal tool for daily consumption of this superfood: unlike a flax seed mixer, this mill does not heat the oil contained in the seeds, preventing agglomerations. To continue to avoid the ground seeds spoiling, this mill was designed for immediate filling and grinding by simply and gently opening the hopper located at the head. This classic mechanism inevitably recalls the traditional Peugeot coffee mills of our grandmothers. For easy cleaning, the grinding mechanism can be removed. As the wooden mill is designed for regular consumption of flax seeds, it comes with a metal measuring spoon (5 g), which corresponds to the recommended daily amount (5 to 10 g). Also suitable for sesame seeds and flax seed-sesame blends. Do not use with other seeds and spices.
